With that in mind, we have planned two tastings and a dinner that highlight wines from Burgundy, Rhône, and Champagne. We want to be able to introduce these wines in a setting befitting a summer evening, so there will be music and small bites at the tastings and a dinner embracing a convivial nature of wine.
Thursday, June 20 - Pressoir Summer Series - Happy Hour at Marvel Tribeca
Instead of heading to a happy hour at the pub around the corner from work, join us in Tribeca at the beautiful Marvel Design space to taste through a great selection of wines, with tunes spun by DJ Sean Cahill. You will start off the tasting with Chartogne-Taillet Sainte Anne in your glass and end with Domaine Alain Graillot Saint Joseph 2017. In between those two will be a range of bottles from Champagne, Burgundy, and the Rhône - 20 fabulous wines in total, paired with the amazing pizza from Lucia, a hot new addition to the neighborhood.

Thursday, June 20 - Pressoir Summer Series - Happy Hour at Marvel Tribeca
The charming Midtown bakery Pavé is the setting for our second tasting in this series, an oasis in the bustling center of the city. We'll start with Pierre Paillard's Grand Cru Champagne "La Grande Recolte" 2012 to start, vintage grower bubbly crafted from old vine Pinot Noir and Chardonnay that just hits. You'll also taste Chateauneuf-du-Pape "Cabrières" from Elodie Jaume, a promising young winemaker who will change your perspective on Grenache with the perfect recipe of very old bush vines planted on sandy soils. We'll explore many other different soil types with 20 different wines poured alongside elegant small bites from Pavé.

Named after the lively town of Beaune, the "wine capital" of Burgundy, The Côte de Beaune covers around 4,000 hectares and is home to villages associated with some of the best wines in the world. Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet or Volnay and Pommard are among them.

We can all agree that an evening of al fresco dining at Popina is a highlight in the summer. The backyard at Popina has been the backdrop for many of us who enjoy a night with multiple bottles of wine, and we want to share that experience with you! You will have a chance to pair 9 wines from Champagne, Burgundy, and the Rhône with dinner at Popina and be sure to come thirsty - pours will be BIG!

It is difficult to find out what makes the wines from a domaine like Coche-Dury so sublime. The yields are not particularly low, and the winemaking is traditional. The elevage is quite long but other Meursault producers follow the same regime and don’t get the same result. What makes Coche-Dury such a cult domaine resides in winemaker Jean-François Coche’s painstaking attention to details, from the vineyard to the winery.
We are delighted to host this beautiful dinner entirely dedicated to the white wines of the famed domaine with highlights from the 1990’s and even a vertical of 1er Cru Perrières back to 1989.

Domaine Mugneret-Gibourg, family owned since the 1930’s, is a small estate of just under nine hectares but its vineyards are spread around Burgundy’s Cote de Nuits and cover the most prestigious appellations, including the most rare Grand Cru climats. We feel particularly honored that the family has agreed to release a few bottles from their own personal collection to make this dinner possible. The domaine being based in the village of Vosne-Romanee, we will start the dinner by serving wines from that appellation before focusing on verticals from Grands Crus Clos Vougeot, Ruchottes Chambertin and Echezeaux.
