The 2009 vintage—widely acclaimed as great, if not exceptional, in some regions—brought smiles to many French vignerons. In Burgundy, the wines, especially the reds, are characterized by low acidity and ripe tannins, resulting in a voluptuous and sensual profile. Champagne also benefited from a superb summer, producing clean and healthy fruit. A similar situation unfolded in the Rhône Valley, where ripeness was easily achieved, ensuring excellent aging potential.
We are delighted to revisit these 2009 wines with you. Please join us for an informative session focused on this remarkable year, featuring exceptional bottles from Champagne, Burgundy, and the Rhône by renowned producers such as d’Angerville, Chevillon, and Beaucastel.
